| Quaker Chewy Bar promo - did it work for you? Posted: 27 Sep 2016 01:17 PM PDT I'm talking about the promo that ends tonight. I went in today and it didn't work even though I bought the correct items. I'm wondering if I'm the only one that it didn't work for? I bought 2 boxes of Chewy Chocolate Chip bars for $2, but it was an E-Vic special for me, $1.77. I bought the Quaker Sandwich things that the tag in front of the items said to buy, for $2. The free didn't come off at the register. The Asst Manager was at the Self-Checkout and I told him. He had no idea about the sale and went back to the aisle. Came back and said, "Maybe you had to buy select varieties, but I'll do it THIS time", like I was trying to cheat. I told him that was never the case and he said, ok. Just wondering how many people bought these items and didn't pay attention to their totals/receipts? |
