Im stuck home with a bum foot and getting frugal. Lol. Join me and share your weekly menus and lets challenge each other to use what we got in our fridge freezer pantries stockpiles etc.
So lets get started!!

Our bfast and lunch menus i try to keep simular.
Bfast choices for weekdays are cereal or cereal bar or toast. With milk and fruit choice.
Weekends bfasts i shoot for hot bfast choices like pancakes eggs bacon/sausage toast or french toast

Lunches our choices are pbj sammies turkey sammies egg salad sammies or hb eggs cheese n crackers with fruit choice veggie choice and juice / or leftovers

Dinner today was stuffed cabbage with potatos and cottage cheese (mom made and brought over)

Copy and Paste Not Working......

For the last two weeks, I have not been able to copy and paste the upcoming coupon list to my wish list. A box comes up that states "We Use Coupons is not responding". I then have to restart WUC. I have been doing the same copy/paste method for 5 + years. Did something get changed? Can a MOD please help me? Thanks

Rake in the Points Week 4 9/18

Had issues with the Revlon BOGO coupon. Any one else have the same?

At the first Rite Aid, I got 5 Mascaras and 5 eye liners. I grabbed the liquid liner the first time. I explained to the cashier about the BOGO coupon and the B1G1 50% Rite Aid Promo, and she had no problem just doing my card after the coupons, rather than doing each of the sets seperately.

They beeped, said no matching product. At first, we thought it might be because the coupon was picky and wanted the plain eye liner, not the liquid. Put them back and got the plain. The first coupon sailed right though. But the rest said no matching product :-(

Took the rest off, keeping the set that worked, and finished the transaction. Then we tried it again... still woulnd't work. The cashier, bless her heart, adjusted the mascaras to $0 and rang up the eye liners. Ugh!!!!! By now there were two people behind me so I just paid. But I ended up paying too much (now the eye liners rang up as full price and half price, instead of all half price), and since she adjusted the mascaras to $0, they tracked as $0!!!! But they were getting busy so I will return them all later. She meant well, anyway.

Stopped at a 2nd one. Tried getting another set. It did the same thing! It didn't matter if we did it before or after my card was scanned. They entered it manually as a coupon, so at least it tracked this time.

On the good side, both stores had plenty of the Schick Razors. $5.99 each with the $7/2 coupon from coupons.com. Basically makes them 9.5 cents a pack ($11.98 - 40% off, which is what $20 points on $50 is, - $7 = .19 for 2).


If you want lots of Q-tips, the Rite Aid brand are $2.99 ($2.50 with Gold), buy 4 get 400 points, which made it $6 for 4 boxes of 600 q-tips (look for the 500+100 bonus ones, otherwise it's just the 500 ct). Limit is 2. Unsure if this is a weekly or monthly sale.

Also, a monthly deal that ends this week, the Soft & Dri Deodorant (it's pink), are buy 2 get 400 points. Limit 2. The big cans are like $5, but the little sticks are on sale for $1.99 ($1.83 with gold), so a MM.

There is a Tide Simply 40fl oz coupon for $1.00/1 in the RP 9/11 (exp 9/24) that will make that only $0.99.

With new coupons and saving star rebate, I was stocking up on cereal and razors!

Used: (I don't know how to link the coupons for print but you can easily find them on the website)
3x $3.00/5 Kellogg's cereal from coupons .com
2x $7.00/2 Schick disposable from coupons .com

Subtotal: $53.51
Total after coupons: $30.51
Receive: 2000pts from Rake in the Points and $5 from saving star's $5 wyb $30 Kellogg's rebate

That more or less gets you 19 products for less than $6! (30.51-20-5)
